How to use WhatsApp in your local language

Nowadays, WhatsApp has become one of the key mediums of communication. Even in Govt sectors also WhatsApp is used for communicating daily project related work information for easy and quick reference. This massaging app is owned by Facebook, currently enjoying 2 billion active users in the biggest market in India. This chat app supports 10 regional languages in India. These languages include Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujrati, Kannada and Malayalam

Now question is how user can use this chat application in these languages. We have share a step-by-step direction as follows.

Step-1: Open Whatsapp
Step-2: Tap on the menu button
Step-3: Go to Setting
Step-4: Head to Chat and open App Language
Step-5: Choose the language of your choice from the Popup that appears
Step-6: Depending on your phone’s capabilities, the list may include: English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi…

But users should remember that, any app that follows the language of the phone. Thus if an user change phone’s language to Hindi, then Whtasapp will automatically be in Hindi. On the other hand, users need to follow a little different procedure according to operating system of their phone.

For Android Phone users:

Step-1: Open Setting App
Step-2: Tap on ‘Languages and Input’
Step-3: Open Languages
Step-4: Select the language you want to choose
Step-5: Open Whatsapp and find all text appearing in that language

For Apple iPhone users

Step-1: Open Setting app
Step-2: Tap on General
Step-3: Go to Language and Region
Step-4: Select iPhone Language
Step-5: Select the Language you want to choose
Step-6: Open WhatsApp and find all text appearing in that language
