Google Photos is a photo gallery from Google. It’s a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. It was announced in May 2015 and turned out from Google+, the company’s social network. Your photos and videos will be automatically backed up and organized, so you can find and share them faster – and thus It saves us a lot of storage space on your smartphone.
But, you frequently may have some photos and videos, which are private and you don’t want to display in the main album and don’t want the photos to be seen by anyone. So, if you want to conceal your photos and keep them separately then you can follow this simple step.
You can use the Archive feature of Google Photos. By this feature users can easily separate their private photos and videos from the main album. Archive feature is available for all the Android, iOS and web.
Here Google Photos version should be 2.15 in order to use the Archive feature.
Step 1: Open the app and select the particular photos or videos.
Step 2: Then tap on the menu button placed on the top left corner of the app. Once the menu is open, you will see an Archive option there.
Step 3: Once done, the archived photos or videos will then disappear from the main album.
The photo will get hided not deleted. The archived images and videos will move to earlier allocated folder and can be found or searched later at any time you want.
This hiding attribute is truly useful and keep you away from a lot of awkwardness.
